HOW TO BACKUP ROM & RESTORE IT USING CWM RECOVERY
Step 1.
Power off your rooted phone. Then hold down + Volume Up and Power buttons together for about 5 -6 seconds until you see two option.
-Volume up for recovery mode.
-Volume down for factory mode.
press Volume up.
Step 2.
Once in CWM Recovery, choose “backup and restore”.
Step 3.
Choose “backup ” if you want to backup your custom rom / stock rom.
Choose "restore" if you want to restore the stock or custom rom.
Then just select the backup file which you want to restore it.
Backup & restore should take around 5-10 minutes.
Once backup is done, you are good to go. They are stored under “clockworkmod/backup” directory on your internal storage or microSD.
(You can also rename the folders to something more easier but make sure you don’t put any spaces when renaming it. You can use file explorer app like ES File Explorer to change the
folder name.)
